Configure Work Order Task Type

Define Work Order Task Type

  • Task Type Name: An abbreviated description of the Work Order Task Type.

  • Task Type Description: A long description of the Work Order Task Type.

  • Data Category: Type of the data that the Work Order Task Type is being defined on.

  • Query String: If the creation type of Work type is Use Query, the Query String should be included in this field.

  • ID Field to Query: If the creation type of Work Type is Use List of IDs, the ID should be included in this field.

  • Feature Type: User selects one of the feature types available in the select box (Example: Line, Point, or Polygon)

  • Symbol Template: Template of the Symbol for the work features.

    • User can choose either WorkOrderTaskType or WorkFeatureCompletedCode or category names to build this template.

    • The values are used to uniquely identify work features displayed on the map in EpochField Mobile.

  • Estimated Duration (in minutes): Represents the normal duration that work of this task type will take.

  • Pre-Create Features?: Check if the Work Features are to be pre-created.

  • Prompt for Equipment ID?: Check if the equipment ID is necessary for creating the work feature.

  • Edit Multiple Features at Once?: Check if editing multiple features at once is allowed.

  • Complete/Incomplete Multiple Features?: Check if multiple features can be made complete or incomplete at once.

  • Launch External Attachment Application?: Check if an external application is to be launched to manage attachments.

  • Auto Reverse-Geocode on Workflow?: Check if the Address field has to be auto-populated based on the location of the work feature created.

  • Add Work Features?: Check if adding a new work feature of this work order task type is allowed.

  • Move Work Features?: Check if moving the work feature is allowed.

  • Delete Work Features?: Check if the deletion of work feature is allowed.

  • Edit Completed Work Features?: Check if a completed work feature can be edited.

  • One Click Complete (All Ok)?: Check if the work feature can be completed with a single click.

  • Add Additional Work Assets?: Check if adding additional assets on the work feature is allowed.

  • Attribute Panel Open?: Check if the attribute panel for the work features has to be opened.

  • Enable Save Button?: Check if the save button in the workflow form should be enabled.

  • Sort Fields Vertically?: Check if the fields should be sorted vertically.
