  • Synchronization of Map Markups is how EpochField passes the markup data:

    • Between users.

    • Between on-premise databases.

    • Between other user's devices.

  • The first synchronization will occur the first time EpochField is launched or the first time the Map Markup tool is launched.

    • This depends on how the tool is configured by your EpochField administrator.

    • The first sync creates the offline geodatabase, stored on your device.

  • Syncing Map Markup data can occur at any time by tapping the Sync Map Markups button.

  • It is strongly suggested to sync your data multiple times throughout the course of the day to keep the sync process more succinct and efficient.

  • Your device must be connected to the internet to sync.
