Synchronization of Map Markups is how EpochField passes the markup data:
Between users.
Between on-premise databases.
Between other user's devices.
The first synchronization will occur the first time EpochField is launched or the first time the Map Markup tool is launched.
This depends on how the tool is configured by your EpochField administrator.
The first sync creates the offline geodatabase, stored on your device.
Syncing Map Markup data can occur at any time by tapping the Sync Map Markups button.
It is strongly suggested to sync your data multiple times throughout the course of the day to keep the sync process more succinct and efficient.
Your device must be connected to the internet to sync.
