Synchronize Map Markup

• Synchronization of Map Markups is how EpochField Mobile passes the markup data:

  • Between users.

  • Between on-premise databases.

  • Between other user's devices.

• The first Synchronization will occur the first time EpochField Mobile is launched or the first time the Map Markup tool is launched.

  • This depends on how the tool is configured by your EpochField Mobile administrator.

  • The first Sync creates the offline geodatabase, stored on your device.

Your device must be connected to the internet to Sync.

It is strongly suggested to Sync your data multiple times throughout the course of the day to keep the Sync process more succinct and efficient.
