Assets Tracing

An Asset Filter must be applied for these processes. See Assets Filter for guidance.

Asset Tracing functionality is dependent on an external tracing service.

  1. Click Trace for an Asset to trace.

The user is brought to the Tracing tab, and the data is autofilled from the Asset.

  1. Click the Tracing Type dropdown.

  2. Select a Tracing Type.

  3. Click the Zones dropdown.

  4. Select a Zone.

  5. Click the Results Set dropdown.

  6. Select a Results Set.

  7. Click Trace.

If no Trace results are available, an error message is shown.

  1. Click the arrow to view the asset data of the traced asset.

The user is brought to the Asset tab.
