Asset Search runs queries against the Electric Assets or Gas Assets in the map and works in off-line mode.

Asset Search is used for:
- Specific asset layers can be configured for searches.
- Assets can be queried by fields specified in the application config.
- Each asset layer has its own set of fields to query.
- Designed for extremely fast queries.

Each Asset Search has its own set of pre-defined search criteria.

Asset Search uses any or all criteria entered to search for this particular asset.

If more than one piece of criteria is entered, the Assets returned from the search will have to meet all of those criteria.

Use Asset Search

Search for an Electrical Asset

Select the Tool Menu.
Select Asset Search.
Select Electric.
Select an Asset Type from the Asset Type dropdown menu.
Enter or select search criteria into the relevant text box based on the Asset Type.
Select Search.
Select any of the returned Assets in the list to view their associated attribute values.

The map will pan and zoom to the Asset upon completion of the Search.

Select the Tool Menu.
Select Asset Search.
Select Gas.
Select an Asset Type from the Asset Type dropdown menu.
Enter or select search criteria into the relevant text box based on the Asset Type.
Select Search.
Select any of the returned Assets in the list to view their associated attribute values.

The map will pan and zoom to the Asset upon completion of the Search.

The Search Results page consists of these components:

The Asset List contains the list of assets returned from the Search.
The Data Grid contains the attribute values for the selected asset in the list.

GPS features must be enabled to use this feature.

The End Address will be automatically entered with the location of the Asset.
