Circuit Filter

The Circuit Filter allows viewed circuit data to be filtered.

Add Circuit Filters

  1. Select the Tool Menu.

  2. Select Circuit Filter.

  3. Enter a Circuit Filter ID into the Filter ID text box.

Select Add Filter ID to enter additional Circuit Filter IDs if it’s desired to filter multiple circuits.

There is a maximum of five circuits to be filtered at a time.

  1. Select Search.

The map will zoom out to the extent of the filtered circuits.

Remove Circuit Filters

Circuit Filters must be applied before performing these steps. See Add Circuit Filters for guidance.

  1. Select the Tool Menu.

  2. Select Circuit Filter.

  3. Select Remove Circuit Filter for the filtered circuit to be removed.

Select Clear to clear the search criteria and results from the tool and map.

Removed filters will have to be reapplied.

Viewing Filtered Circuits

Circuit Filters must be applied before performing these steps. See Add Circuit Filters for guidance.

  1. Select a Circuit Filter result in the list to Zoom to the extent of the circuit segments associated with that Circuit in the map.

The Circuit Filter will also restrict the display of electric features to the devices that are associated with the filtered circuits.

As you zoom in around the outer edges of the highlighted segments for a circuit, you will see the electric features for neighboring circuits that are not a part of the filter are no longer displayed.

Applied filters do persist upon exiting of the Circuit Filter Tool menu.

Applied filters don’t persist upon exiting of EpochField Mobile.
