Administrative Tools Overview

Administrative Tools are for monitoring and managing the mobile application.

The Help Tool is disabled when there is no internet connection present.

The Privacy Policy Tool is disabled when there is no internet connection present.

Change Mobile Configurations is disabled when there is no internet connection present, or when data is downloading.

Change Portal Groups is disabled when there is no internet connection present, or when data is downloading.

• Info – Contains version information.

• View Logs – Contains application log messages.

• Emergency Beacon – Allows users to activate a timed beacon that is visible through EpochField Mobile and EpochField Web Suite Work Scheduler.

• Close – Closes the app, keeps user login information.

• Change Mobile Configurations – Choose another group in the current Portal.

• Change Portal Groups – Logs the user out of the existing portal.

• Remove Offline Geodatabase – Launches a tool for selectively removing Map Markup and Work Management databases from the device.

• Compress GPS Geodatabase – Compresses the GPS geodatabase to optimize storage and improve performance.

• View Privacy Policy – Provides access to the EpochField Privacy Policy.

• Reset EpochField Mobile – Resets the EpochField Mobile application, restoring it to its default state.

• Log Out – Logs the user out of the current session in the EpochField Mobile application.
