Work Feature Additions
Add Work Features
EpochField Mobile provides the ability to Add Work Features to a Work Order for the Task Types that are configured in EpochField Workflow Builder to allow that behavior. See Workflow Builder for more information.
Add Individual Work Feature
Select the
Tool Menu.
Select
Work Management.
Select a Work Order to add a Work Feature to.
Select
Create New.
Select
Work Feature.
Select a point on the map where the Work Feature is located.
Fill out the data entry fields of the Workflow Form as needed. See View Work Features for guidance.
If a Line Feature Type is selected, the line will have to be added to the map via selection points. Each selection point on the map represents a vertex of the line. Select the map to complete the Line Feature.
Import Work Features CSV
An Adhoc Work order must be created to perform this process. See Create Adhoc Work Order for guidance.
A valid .csv file must be present on the device to perform this process. See CSV File Configurations for guidance.
Work Features can be added in bulk through importing of a .csv file.
Select the Work Order.
Select
Create New.
Select
Import CSV.
Select a Task Type.
Select
Confirm.
Select
Choose CSV File.
Select a valid .csv file stored on the device.
See CSV File Configurations for guidance on valid .csv files.
Select
Import.
Select
Continue.
CSV File Configurations
A specific configuration is required for .csv files to be used for Import Work Features CSV.
Work Feature IDs and Work Feature Coordinates are mutually exclusive for this feature.
Work Feature IDs and Work Feature Coordinates must be properly configured for this feature.
Work Feature Symbols are optional.

An error will be thrown if the .csv file is configured incorrectly.
An error will be thrown if the .csv file is open on the device as the import is being performed.
